Sunday 15th - Collioure

Baker at the market
Sunday is the day of the Collioure market, and we had enjoyed it so much on our last trip with Sandy and Lynette that we were keen to go again. It is only a short trip from Laroque, so we were there quite early (early for us – meaning about 10.30). As before, the market was full of things to see, and people busy buying things. We spent quite some time wandering through the arty shops having a good look around. We bought ourselves a Catalan donkey sticker for the car at home, and a couple of T-shirts for me. We will save a re-visit of the other two port towns of Banyuls-sur-Mer and Port-Vendres for next year.

In the afternoon there was time for Karen to have a quick sunbathe in the strong wind, and a cool dip in the pool, while I caught up on some work.
